Strategic Assignment Collection
February 08, 2006
I found a convnient way to turn in student work alphabetically. I use a wire rack in which I can put folders upright. I have three of these racks placed strategically around the classroom. Each student has a roster number and I have similarly numbered the slots of each rack. When students are finished with their work, they place it in their assigned slot. I can get the collection completed quickly and I don't have 26 students all bunched up in one place trying to turn in their papers.
