To help set up your homeroom, keep a three ring binder with plastic report cover pocket sleeves for each student. Keep the sheet that each parent fills out the first week of school with home information, address, phone numbers, allergies, etc. If the computer system breaks down, you'll have the info on each child at your fingertips. In the pocket sleeve behind the information sheet, keep any home communication notes, conference confirmations, discipline notes, etc. for that child. At the conference times you'll have all information on that student readily available. Works for Me!
