When Nothing Isn't Good Enough

Eliminate the overused answer of 'nothing' students give their parents when asked what they did at school. Have students write their own note home to Mom or Dad telling them at least one thing they learned that day. This letter is a great way to improve home/school communication as well as provide an opportunity for students to practice their letter-writing skills.
