Book Boxes

My students each have a book box. Their boxes have a variety of reading materials, such as leveled readers, magazines and picture books. Students choose most of what goes in their boxes, because it is super important for them to have choices and take an active interest in what they read. Their selections come from our reading curriculum, social studies readers, science readers, library books, my classroom library and weekly readers.
