Humane Gifts

For the last several years in our school, some of the classrooms have stopped doing gift exchanges and instead ask students to bring an item for the local humane society. The humane society gives us their wish list. We usually have enough items to fill a pick-up truck, and we deliver them just a few days before Christmas. The classroom that originated the idea makes a field trip out of the delivery.
