Marking In-Class Work

June 26, 2014

Found In: routines & procedures, tracking student work

As you circulate and check on students’ work, draw a line to indicate how much of the assignment was completed when you passed by. Don’t forget to add your initials. If you collect their in-class work, you will know whose papers you looked at and how much of their work you reviewed. In class, you will get a good idea of how well the class understood the assignment and if you even need to collect their papers — thus saving you time.
