Sing to Settle Students

Over the years, I’ve learned that you’ll get kids of any age to settle down quickly when you sing your request. Sing a short message that relays your intent (“Come to the gathering spot, come to the gathering spot, come to the gathering spot right now” – or whatever). Use any familiar melody, or make up your own tune if you prefer.
