Teaching Grammar with Real Writing Samples

When teaching grammar and punctuation, I like to put up perfect writing examples for all to see on the Smart Board. Then I put up one that has the errors underlined. In going over the 2nd, they learn a lot. The 3rd iteration is an unmarked essay where they underline or fix errors they find. Then, we go over the corrections needed.
