The Limited Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Waiver has provided billions of dollars in debt relief, but the waiver is set to expire October 31, and many more educators need help.

Take Action

Email Education Secretary Miguel Cardona to ask for an extension of the PSLF limited waiver.

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program was created in 2007 to benefit educators and the millions of other people whose work keeps communities going, especially in tough times.

PSLF had problems from the beginning, but last year, the Biden administration stepped in with the Limited PSLF Waiver that has provided loan forgiveness for 175,000 public service workers.

If the waiver is extended, many more will have an opportunity for loan forgiveness.
