CLASS Grant
Your chapter can apply for up to $1,000 to fund your local community outreach efforts. Application deadlines: First semester, August 31; Second semester, November 30.
SOAR Grant
2011-2012 CLASS and SOAR Grants Due NOVEMBER 30, 2011
Is your NEA Student Program interested in a special project to recruit more members or sponsoring a community service project? We have grants available to help you pay for these events. Funding decisions will be based on the quality of the application (grant applications are not guaranteed to be funded). Please read the Grants Handbook thoroughly before submitting an application. The handbook provides a wealth of information about project ideas as well as details about application requirements:

Outreach to Teach
NEA Student Program members each year join retired educators, education support professionals, and active teachers to clean up a local school in the host city of NEA's Representative Assembly.
Jack Kinnaman Scholarship
This scholarship will offset the tuition of an NEA student member. It was created in memory of an education advocate and longtime NEA member. Application deadline: April 10.
