Help us shape NEA’s policies and strategic direction to build capacity, advance opportunities, and secure the environment for students, educators, and families.
Your voice is critical to the development of our resolutions, legislative program, policy statements, and budget. Ask questions, provide comments, and share proposals to grow our Association and strengthen our impact.

NEA Strategic Framework

The biennial Strategic Plan focuses our energy and resources to reflect our commitment to great public schools for every student.

NEA Policy Statements

NEA has adopted nine Policy Statements that set forth the Association’s position on a range of pressing education issues. We invite our members to read them, ask questions, and propose amendments. This page is available year-round for submissions and questions from NEA members about NEA Policy Statements. It is not intended for official business submissions by delegates to the Annual Meeting and Representative Assembly.

NEA Resolutions

NEA has adopted resolutions related to the 10 goal areas of NEA’s constitution. The resolutions convey the consensus of NEA members for all of the positions that the Association may take on education and social justice issues. This page is available year-round for submissions and questions from NEA members about NEA Resolutions. It is not intended for official business submissions by delegates to the Annual Meeting and Representative Assembly.

NEA has a wide-ranging agenda for federal action, reflecting the educational and social concerns of its members.
