Take Action
Urge your senators to support an immigration process that is humane, functional, and just.
All children—regardless of where they come from, what they look like, or where they live—deserve to pursue their dreams.
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program has made that possible for nearly 800,000 Dreamers—including 15,000 educators—who live, study, and work in America, the country that is their home. The program is an unqualified success. But some decision makers refuse to acknowledge that reality.
Instead of honoring Dreamers’ courage and commitment, they endeavor to divide and distract us by generating fear based on race or place of origin.
Let’s come together across racial differences, reflect the best of America’s values, and make this a nation where all children can pursue their dreams—no exceptions.
Include permanent protections and pathways to citizenship for Dreamers and other undocumented immigrants in any must-pass legislation that moves forward this year.
