Take Action

Urge your representative to support an immigration process that is humane, functional, and just.

All children—regardless of where they come from, what they look like, or where they live—deserve to pursue their dreams.

The American Dream and Promise Act (H.R. 16) would provide a pathway to citizenship—and certainty—for Dreamers brought to this country as minors, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients, and people granted Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for humanitarian reasons—populations that include nearly 37,000 educators, per the Migration Policy Institute.

DACA is an unqualified success. But some decision makers refuse to acknowledge that reality. Instead of honoring Dreamers’ courage and commitment, they endeavor to divide and distract us by generating fear based on race or place of origin.

Let’s come together, reflect the best of America’s values, and make this a nation where all children can pursue their dreams—no exceptions.
