Congress Must Step in to End Policy Requiring Educators on Military Bases to Work Additional Hours for Free

The Department of Defense Education Authority (DoDEA) in 2019 began requiring educators in the schools it oversees on stateside military installations to work additional hours each quarter without pay. DoDEA claims it’s for professional development, but it is bad policy and serves no useful purpose.
