Take Action

Support the Raise the Wage Act of 2023 (H.R. 4889 / S. 2488)

No full-time worker in America should have to live in poverty.

The federal minimum wage was last increased 14 years ago, and today, its value is at the lowest level since 1956.

The bicameral Raise the Wage Act of 2023 would increase the federal minimum wage to $17 by 2028, benefiting all low-wage earners—including many of the education support professionals who staff our nation’s schools.
