Tell your Senators to Pass the Protect America’s Workforce Act
America depends on federal employees, no matter how large or small our communities. The work of these dedicated public servants affects every aspect of our lives, and they deserve a voice on the job.
But an executive order from the president stripped collective bargaining rights from 1 million federal employee, including the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) educators who teach and support students enrolled in schools on American stateside and overseas military bases. The bipartisan Protect America’s Workforce Act, S. 2837, would reverse this.
The executive order specified agencies whose primary function is intelligence, counterintelligence, investigative, or national security work. But a variety of agencies and employees were impacted.
Tell the Senate to support collective bargaining for federal workers, including the educators of DoDEA, by passing the Protect America’s Workforce Act, S. 2837.
