Praxis Blended Learning Courses

NEA Teacher Quality launched Praxis Blended Learning sessions to assist potential and aspiring educators study for Praxis Core (and some content) exams.

At a Glance

NEA is offering another round of Praxis preparation sessions to include Praxis Core and Praxis Content exams. These 90-minute weekly sessions will meet virtually for four weeks, beginning April 3, and are free to NEA members. For the list of sessions and registration information, click here. NEA Teacher Quality launched Praxis Blended Learning sessions to assist aspiring educators study for Praxis Core (and some content) exams. These 90-minute weekly virtual sessions are free to NEA members and run 4-6 weeks. The next sessions launch April 11. There are multiple courses and times to choose from, but only 5-10 spots in each course, so sign up soon! You will receive a link to select your sessions upon completion of the signup form.

Praxis Core Math

This course will help students prepare for the Core Academic Skills for Educators: Mathematics test. It will cover these topics: number and quantity; data interpretation and representation, statistics, and probability; and algebra and geometry.

Praxis Core Reading

This course will guide and support test-takers as they prepare to study for the Core Academic Skills for Educators: Reading Assessment. The course will focus on academic reading skills and measure test takers’ reading ability as they strive to become teachers of record.

Praxis Core Writing

This course will guide and support test-takers as they prepare for the Core Academic Skills for Educators: Writing Assessment. The course will focus on academic writing skills and measure test takers’ ability to correctly and effectively use standard written English.
