These are challenging and complex times, and educators may need help learning to navigate them. That’s why NEA created trauma-informed pedagogy online courses. These courses reflect on how trauma may impact educators and their students and support healing the mental and emotional effects of the trauma.
In these courses, participants will learn to create teaching approaches that consider the broader impacts of trauma and the potential paths to resiliency, while designing and moderating trauma-informed learning environments for all students.

NEA (facilitated) national online blended learning courses run six weeks with suggested deadlines to help you pace yourself and provide a certificate for *15 hours of professional development upon completion.
