Participants will understand the critical need to create safe and supportive schools for transgender and non-binary students and become familiar with policies and best practices to support transgender and non-binary students.

Workshop content includes Activity: Gender Dominoes (vocabulary). Film and Debrief: 'JR, a Dad for Transgender Equality'. Review: Protective laws and policies, privacy and confidentiality, and best practices (names and pronouns, dress codes, restrooms, etc.)
