The White House released a Statement of Administration Policy on January 30, 2023 announcing the intent to end the COVID national and public health emergencies (PHE) on May 11, 2023.  On February 10, 2023, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released a COVID Public Health Emergency Transition Roadmap.  HHS also updated and sent a letter to all State Health Officials on January 27, 2023 and a letter to Governors on February 9, 2023.
