Meet David Bowles

What would you ask an award-winning author?
David Bowles author bio

David Bowles will make a virtual visit to your school to discuss his book My Two Border Towns/Mis dos pueblos fronterizos. In the book, a Latino boy and his father cross the United States-Mexico border to visit family and friends, run errands, and bring much-needed supplies to hopeful refugee families camping along the bridge.

David grew up in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and has written many books about Mexican Americans and the land that borders the United States and Mexico. He is also a poet and translator.

What would you like to ask David about his book, about writing, or about border towns? Submit your question below and David might answer when he visits.

Submit your question by March 15.

Are you willing to ask your question during the author visit?
