Emotional Poverty 

Workshop Information  - This is a workshop for educators to understand and address anger, anxiety, and avoidance behaviors; and, it provides tools to encourage positive behavior. 

Restorative Practices 

Restorative Practices Toolkit - This toolkit provides intentional, inclusive conflict resolution resources. 

Niroga Dynamic Mindfulness 

Training information  - This training is trauma-informed. It provides educator stress, anger, anxiety management, enhances educator sustainment, enables positive classroom climate creation, and encourages students to be more focused and engaged with emotional self-regulation practices.  

Emotional Backpack 

Project Information – This program provides information on children’s mental health, trauma-informed classrooms, Trauma 102, youth suicide prevention, and self-care for educators.  

Restorative Action 

Program Information – This program is for educators, students, and peers. It aims for a cultural shift in schools towards restorative practices, and addresses underlying issues that cause certain behaviors.  

Peer Mediation 

Peer mediation is a voluntary process in which a student trained as a neutral third party helps other students in conflict get clear about their concerns, better understand one another, and come to a mutual agreement about how they want to handle their issues (University of Maine)

The South Carolina Education Association Center for Educator Wellness and Learning 

This is a NEA-Affiliate program aiming to improve educators’ wellness and provide education on mental health best practices. 

It includes a series of online webinars to learn about specific topics around trauma, wellness, social justice, and more. They provide a unique in-person, immersive retreat option in the Carolinas on “Educator Renewal”.
